Sarah is the author of several books about the birds of the Pacific Northwest. She lives in Portland with her husband and her dog. When she isn’t birding, she loves reading, embroidery, and enjoying beers with friends.

Sarah is a lifelong Oregonian and her favorite places to bird include the northern Oregon Coast and the Sisters, Oregon area.

Sarah has taught birding classes and led bird walks through Bird Alliance of Oregfon and currently works there as the Events Manager.
